But while we celebrate the history of our sport, we're equally passionate about its future.

That's why we're delighted to introduce the HERO-ERA Young Rallyist Kit. 

Why We've Created the Young Rallyist Kit

One question we often ask ourselves is:

Who will be competing in HERO events in twenty years' time?

Historic rallying has an incredible heritage, but like every motorsport, its future depends on inspiring the next generation.

Many of today's experienced competitors first discovered their love of classic cars through family. Whether it was sitting alongside a parent on an event, helping clean the car in the garage or learning to read a map, everyone starts somewhere.

We wanted to create something that welcomes young people into our community and gives them something they can genuinely use.

Not simply a souvenir.

Not simply merchandise.

But a practical starter kit for the next generation of rally competitors.

What's Inside the Kit?

Every item has been selected because it's something a young rally enthusiast can actually use, both during an event and long afterwards.

The HERO-ERA Young Rallyist Kit includes:

• NavKit-Pro 30 – An easy-to-use navigation aid, ideal for learning the basics of rally navigation.
• HERO-ERA Polo Shirt – Official HERO-ERA branded polo shirt.
• HERO-ERA Cap – Perfect for event days and everyday wear.

Launching at Rally for the Ages

We're proud to officially launch the Young Rallyist Kit during Rally for the Ages.

As part of the event, the two youngest competitors will each receive a specially prepared presentation pack to recognise their participation and celebrate the future of historic rallying.

We're incredibly grateful to our partners Tudor and Michelin, whose support has helped make this initiative possible. Their commitment to encouraging young people into the sport reflects a shared belief that the future of historic rallying is every bit as important as its remarkable past.

The presentation packs will also include a number of additional gifts to make the occasion even more memorable, and we look forward to sharing photographs from the presentations after the event.

Looking Ahead

The Young Rallyist Kit is just the beginning.
