Penrite Running In Oil is a premium mineral SAE 15W-40 engine oil specifically developed for the critical running-in period of both new and reconditioned engines. Formulated as a non-friction modified, low detergent and dispersant oil, it is designed to allow controlled bedding-in of engine components for optimal long-term performance.

It features a high-performance anti-wear additive package with elevated zinc (ZDDP) levels exceeding 1600 ppm, providing exceptional protection for highly loaded valvetrain components such as camshafts, followers, rockers, and pushrods during initial engine operation.

This carefully balanced formulation helps piston rings seat correctly against cylinder walls while preventing bore glazing, making it suitable for both dyno testing and road-based running-in procedures.
