Faher Anti-Friction PTFE Treatment – Advanced Oil Additive for Engine Protection

Faher Anti-Friction PTFE is a high-performance, oil-based anti-friction treatment enhanced with Teflon technology. Fully compatible with all conventional lubricants, it uses the engine oil as a carrier to reach and treat internal metal components, delivering deep, long-lasting protection.

When introduced into the system, the micronised PTFE bonds with microporous metal surfaces, forming a protective film approximately 15 microns thick. This reduces friction and wear, helping components operate more efficiently and extending overall engine life.

Designed for demanding applications, it is particularly suited to high-mileage vehicles, heavy-duty use, and high-temperature operating conditions.

Applications:

Recommended systems include:

• Hydraulic systems
• Torque converters and related hydraulic systems
• Four-stroke engines (dry clutch only)
• AC compressors
• Manual gearboxes, reducers, multipliers, differentials, power steering systems
• Screw compressors, bearings, guides, and gear systems

Dosage & Treat Rates (apply at operating temperature):

• Hydraulic systems: 1% at every oil change (10 ml per 1 litre of oil)
• Converters / hydraulic systems: 1% every other oil change
• Four-stroke engines: 3% every other oil change (30 ml per 1 litre of oil)
  • For oil consumption reduction: 3% at each oil change until stabilised, then every other oil change
• AC compressors: 3% (30 ml per 1 litre of oil)
• Manual gearboxes / differentials / power steering / compressors / bearings: 5% (50 ml per 1 litre of oil)
• Motorcycles (dry clutch only):
  • 4-stroke engines: 3% every other oil change
  • Drive shafts: 2%–5% depending on application

Important Restrictions:

• Not suitable for wet clutch applications
• Do not use in automatic gearboxes
• Do not use with ceramic-based systems (e.g., ceramic clutches, brakes, or limited-slip differentials with ceramic components)
